McKay's Baptism

What a great Saturday it was. Mckay was baptized. He turned 8 years old on 10/10/08 and was ready for his baptism. We had several family home evenings lessons about baptism and what it means. He was excited and we had dry runs on family night. On the big day his Grandpa Bowen and his Uncle David served as witnesses. The circle for his confirmation was very large with relatives. Afterwards we went home and had a great lunch. Pictures to follow.

Jordies Puppies

Our dog Jordie had puppies, and we have been very busy with our very own Larsson puppy rodeo. Jordie gave birth to six healthy puppies. Three black and three brown and three female and three male. We witnessed the birth and watch them grow up so fast within weeks their eyes were open and they were walking and barking and rough housing with each other. All of the puppies are now gone sold to the highest bidder. We sort of felt like a miniture puppy mill. We placed an ad in the local web classifed ad with the pictures Julie took and within minutes of placing the ad the phone would not stop ringing after 15 minutes we stopped the ad and all of the puppies were sold. We didn't want them to go but it was to much work and it was time for them to bless other peoples lives.
Thanksgiving Day,

Everyone is home for Thanksgiving. Brittney is home from College. Taylor,Russell,Stephen and McKay. We watched movies last night I wanted to play some games but as an old Dad I fell asleep watching movies way to early. We ate snacks had donuts Krispy Kremes I had a tuna sandwich. I'm supporting the fishermen of world. We awoke late I watch a few eposides of the old TV series The Rifleman Chuck Conners is my hero. Julie has complained all week about having to work for Jet Blue on the Thanksgiving day. She got up and worked for 30 Min. We feel her pain. Now she is our slave cooking breakfast and etc and etc. Since Grandma and Grandpa Bowen are in Germany eating Stroodles for the Thanksgiving. We get to spend our Holiday with the Fitzpatricks.. We look forward to eating playing some games and complaining about growing old, not having enough money, and high gas prices! WOOPS we will have to wait until next year to complain about gas prices they are most excellent right now. $1.64 per gallon and dropping so it will be Free. I'm sure Julie will want to add to this so I will sign off we will post some pictures of the day later. PS do you like my fall colors?
